So I have placed my order, now what?
Once your order is placed and payment has been confirmed, you are put into our mailing list. Your child will receive a letter from the Forest telling them that they will soon start receiving stories from our Forest. If you requested a personal note be added, it will appear on this letter.
Your first story will be mailed with the next mailing. We usually mail the first and third weeks of the month. The first story of a subscription will be an introduction to the world, letting the child orient themselves with some of the characters, the forest layout, and how it will all work. The next story to arrive, after the introduction, will be the seasonal story that goes out with that mailing.

When can we expect to receive our stories?
Unfortunately, we cannot control the mail. We will mail the stories out the beginning of the first and third weeks of the month, but when they arrive will be completely in the control of Canada Post and/or other mail carriers.

What are the “Reflections” on the back of the cards?
The Reflections on the back of each card are meant to help the child enter deeper into the story and into the world. They will simply ask the child to observe their surroundings, or take note of seasonal changes, or even imagine what they would do if posed with the situation of the character from that story. These reflections will help keep the story alive in the child’s mind while waiting for the next to arrive.

If I order one for each of my children, will there be different stories to arrive?
We understand that some parents will order one for each of their children so that each child receives their own special piece of mail, but there is only one story per mailing, so each child will receive the same story.

What is your privacy policy?
First off, we will never sell your name, email, or any other personal information that you share with us, EVER. Also, we will never advertise to your children. We will never send them anything except the stories from the forest and we will never ask them to log onto the website or anything media related . Any correspondence that needs to be done regarding subscription issues or renewals will be done via e-mail. We value and respect our customers privacy, so we will not bother you with excessive e-mails. We will only contact you when necessary.

Will there be any crafts or extra things for my child on the website?
No, never. The website is meant for adults to find out about us and place orders, we keep Mariposa media free for the children. The experience happens in their imagination, we like to keep them in that magical place. If you follow us on Facebook, you will occasionally receive activities and crafts that would coincide with the stories that mailing, but that is about it.
